Scuba diving into the World’s First Underwater Winery

Peninsula of Pelješac is well known as a peninsula with fine vineyards and many excellent varieties of wine.

In 2011 bottles and amphorae with Dingač, King of the Croatian wines, were immersed under the sea to have unique product. First, amphorae wer was called  Navis Mysterium – The Sea Mystery and this was the beginning of the first underwater winery.

Bottled wine and the amphora is placed in an old sunken fishing boat that had been lying on the seabed for more than 30 years. The unique essence of the Adriatic Sea combined with exquisite wine, one that you will want to  taste it and take it with you: product with a a story that belongs to our land.
